Independent Audit
IPG & Bakış Independent Audit got authority to audit from Energy Market Authority and Capital Markets Board of Turkey in 2004, and from the undersecretariat of Treasury in 2007.
We provide the following services within the framework of the obtained authorization:
1- Independent Audit on behalf of the Board of the Capital Markets
The basis of Independent Audit is to control and evaluate the annual financial statements and other financial information according to the criteria (for example, for a public company financial statements have been designated or accepted by the Capital Markets Board financial reporting standards) specified for these information and statements over the books, records and documents and to create reports about them. In this respect, in order to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence, all the necessary techniques provided in the generally accepted auditing standards are applied in our audit.
Independent audit works and reports performed on behalf of the Capital Markets Board are carried out within the framework of the provisions of the Independent Audit Standards in Capital Markets largely prepared in compliance with the International Independent Auditing Standards.
Special-purposed independent audit work is conducted to international firms and independent audit reports are prepared according to international standards. In addition, doing independent audit working on behalf of Capital Markets Board and transforming report by evaulating it forms the basis of our services.
2- the Independent Audit on behalf of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority
Services being provided by our firm that inspecting compliance with general and special provisions and with generally accepted accounting principles and finally compliance with accounting and recording system introduced in by the Energy Market Regulatory Board of the activities, practices, transactions, accounts and financial statements of licensees, the real and legal persons owner of the certificate and public and private companies holder authorization certificate operating in the energy market and making the reports with in the framework operating in the energy market and the Regulation on the Supervision of Legal Persons by Independent Audit Institutions published on 03.10.2003 by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority and notifications published depending on this regulation.
3- Independent Audit Services on behalf of the Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of the Treasury of the Republic of Turkey
The audit of financial statements to be published within the legislation of insurance, by insurance and reinsurance companies established in Turkey and branch offices in Turkey of insurance and reinsurance companies established in foreign countries performs within the framework Regulation on Independent Audit in Insurance and Reinsurance Companies published on 08.09.2003 by the Undersecretariat of Treasury and papers that had been published depending on this regulation.
